The Book Development Association of the Philippines recently announced the 2010 Gintong Aklat Winners during the 31st Manila International Book Fair at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia.

The Gintong Aklat Awards, sponsored by the National Book Development Board, was established in 1981 and is given out bi-annually to outstanding book publishers based on the quality of the books they produce year after year. Categories in this year’s award are: Natural Science, Inspirational, Culinary, Arts and Culture, Literature in English and Filipino and Social Science.
