The National Book Development Board (NBDB) encourages Filipino publishers, authors, and content creators to join the 2018 Kuala Lumpur Trade and Copyright Centre (KLTCC) from April 30 to May 2.
Now on its 11th year, the KLTCC is a major content and copyright trade event in Asia. This year’s KLTCC has now opened applications for its Page to Pitch (P2P) 360 and New Publisher Program.
Local authors and content creators are enjoined to send in their ideas to P2P 360. Finalists will get a chance to present to a panel of judges on the April 30 pitching forum. Winners will get cash prize, a plaque, and the opportunity to get published.
Meanwhile, the NBDB urges Filipino publishers that have never been exposed to international fairs to join the New Publisher Program. The semi-fellowship is an opportunity to know Malaysian publishing industry through business matching sessions and a tour to Malaysian bookstores.
