The National Book Development Board (NBDB) is in need of teammates for our special projects. Candidates must be:
• passionate about the book industry;
• familiar with or experienced in working with book industry players (writers,
illustrators, translators, publishers, book designers, editors, etc.);

We have openings for the following Job Orders:

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT FOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT (PDA – PM)
Period: January 28, 2019 – April 28, 2019
Gross monthly fee: Php19,536.00
(subject to renewal)

Requirements:
• graduate of any 4-year course;
• knowledge in MS Word, Excel, Photoshop, and social media posting;
• experience in events management, writing, and/or layout and design.

Responsibilities:
• assist in communications relative to NBDB’s projects in the Planning and Programs Division;
• provide assistance in coordinating inter-agency work concerning planning and programs;
• organize documents and materials for NBDB projects in the Planning and Programs Division;
• prepare project reports and other related documents;
• produce studies and final graphic designs for the logos, posters, banners, and other collaterals for NBDB’s projects; and
• perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Executive Director.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT FOR GRAPHIC DESIGN (PDA – GD)
Period: January 28, 2019 – April 28, 2019
Gross monthly fee: Php19,536.00

Responsibilities:
• conceptualize and execute the designs and layouts of publications and promotional materials for selected NBDB capacity-building activities;
• produce studies and final graphic designs for logos, posters, banners, brochures, presentations, and social media posts among others;
• ensure timely submission of all publication and collateral designs and layouts; and
• perform other tasks assigned by the Planning and Programs Division from time to time.

(Excellence in computer-based programs, especially design and publication software a must, experience in photography, video production and editing a plus.)
