Described as the enfant terrible of Bikol contemporary writings, Cordero is a poet, fictionist, essayist, translator and an independent filmmaker. He has written five poetry collections in Filipino, Bikol and Rinconada. His most recent collections, Canticos: Apat Na Boses/ Canticles: Four Voices (UST Publishing House, 2013) and Labi/ Ruins (Ateneo de Manila University Press, 2013) both received the National Book Awards for Poetry in Filipino and Bikol in 2014.

A professional designer and art director who is also working as a painter and an illustrator. Rommel Joson has received awards and citations for painting, illustration, comics and design from various organizations such as the Philippine Board of Books for the Young, the Shell National Art Competition, the Neil Gaiman/Fully Booked Graphic Fiction Competition, the Adobo Design Awards and the Philippine Araw Awards. Joson is also a lecturer at the University of the Philippines – Diliman, College of Fine Arts.

Budjette Tan is an ad man by day and a comic book writer by night. He is currently a Creative Director in the LEGO Agency, the internal communications gency of the toy company in Denmark. His creator-owned crime/horror comic book TRESE has won three Philippine Book Awards for Best Graphic Literature. In fact, his comic book is now part of the Philippine Department of Education list of required reading due to its unique way of introducing 0Philippine mythology and folklore to new readers.
