The National Book Development Board (NBDB) and the Manila Critics Circle (MCC) hosted a formal ceremony on November 22, 2014 at the Marble Hall, Museum of the Filipino People, National Musuem, City of Manila to fete the recipients of the 33rd National Book Awards (NBA). NBDB Chair Flor Marie Sta.Romana Cruz and MCC Chair Isagani R. Cruz were on hand to award the winners with trophies designed by sculptor Pete Jimenez.
