The National Book Development Board (NBDB) will host a press conference to launch Philippine Book Development Month on November 4, 10 AM at Uno Morato, Tomas Morato corner E.Rodiguez, Quezon City.

The PBDM launch is a prelude to book-related activities in November, particularly The Pressing Issue: The 5th Philippine International Literary Festival and Book Industry Summit (PILF-BIS) on November 12 to 14, 2014 at the Bayanihan Center, Pioneer Street, Pasig City. Topics on the sustainability of the book industry amidst ASEAN integration and globalization, plus other pressing issues will be the focus of the discussions.
