On September 3, the National Book Development Board (NBDB) held a post-event session of the recently concluded 3rd National Children’s Book Awards at the NBDB Conference Hall.

PBBY Chair Tarie Sabido started off the discussion with a quick background on the NCBA. She also emphasized the importance of a transparent judging process.

NCBA Judges who were present to meet participating publishers were Robert Alejandro, Daisy Jane Calado, Ryce Cortez, and Troy Lacsamana.

The NBDB encourages these dialogues to establish open communication lines with industry players.
