The Association of American Publishers (AAP), the largest trade organization of publishing companies in the United States, has granted franchise to the Philippines, through the National Book Development Board (NBDB), to replicate the implementation of its Get Caught Reading program here.

“We are thrilled that (the Philippines) will be adopting our program, and we look forward to assist (the NBDB) in…making Get Caught Reading Philippines a success,” says AAP vice-president Tina Jordan, in her letter to NBDB honcho Dennis T. Gonzalez.
