In this time of uncertainty, one of our greatly affected sectors of society is agriculture. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, our Filipino farmers find it difficult to plant and harvest their crops. Demands for agricultural products have slowly diminished as many establishments, such as restaurants and hotels, have yet to resume operation. Our farmers are the ones who feed our nation, yet they oftentimes can hardly feed themselves because of our current situation.
In this picture, a middle-aged farmer with a face mask tries to plant crops. Amidst the disaster, he still sees hope. And that is what we are known for: Filipinos never give up!
